Jeep appears to be teasing a rugged Wrangler for 2026.
It will be unveiled on November 12 and may include Jeep Performance Parts.
The 2026 Wrangler has a starting price of $34,395, not including a $1,995 destination fee.
The significant price increase for the Compass isn’t the only major announcement from Jeep, as the company has shared a cryptic teaser. Subtly displayed on their homepage, the teaser features a countdown along with the message “something big is dropping soon.”
This is accompanied by a brief video showing wooden military crates parachuting down.

While it’s not entirely certain what Jeep is teasing, the company recently launched the redesigned Cherokee, updated Grand Cherokee, and refreshed Grand Wagoneer. This suggests we might be looking at the Recon, set to launch later this year.
However, upon further investigation, it appears the crates are marked with the Jeep Performance Parts logo, indicating we could be witnessing a hardcore Gladiator or Wrangler.
Additionally, we found that the teaser video is featured on the landing page for the 2026 Wrangler, confirming the apparent special edition’s foundation.
We will receive full details on November 12, but the 2026 Wrangler starts at $34,395, excluding a $1,995 destination charge. It will come in six trims: Sport and Sport S, as well as Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, and Rubicon X.
More variants will likely be added later, including the Rubicon 392 and the plug-in hybrid Wrangler 4xe.
Jeep has not yet shared specific updates for the 2026 Wrangler, although it will come in a new Reign paint color. Furthermore, Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf indicated we can expect additional V8-powered options along with more personalization and customization features for both the Wrangler and Gladiator.
He suggested this could involve larger tires and uniquely colored features like fender flares.
