A new carbon fiber kit for the Lamborghini Revuelto enhances its aggressive aesthetics without altering the powertrain or affecting its resale value.
Vorsteiner has unveiled a carbon bodykit enhancement for the Lamborghini Revuelto supercar.
This kit includes a new carbon hood, splitter, vented fenders, side skirts, and diffuser.
The complete kit is priced higher than a VW Golf R but significantly less than DMC’s $388K offering.
The Lamborghini Revuelto has caught the eye of several tuners, including Mansory, DMC, 1016 Industries, Zacoe, and Keyvany. Vorsteiner, based in California, identified an opportunity for another bodykit and introduced its own carbon fiber components for Lamborghini’s flagship supercar.
The main feature of the aesthetic upgrades is the newly designed hood, which showcases a raw carbon fiber finish. This is complemented by a more assertive splitter and vented fenders that give the Revuelto a appearance reminiscent of the Batmobile. The side profile features elongated side skirts, while the rear is equipped with a significantly larger diffuser. In contrast to other tuners, Vorsteiner opted not to include a rear wing, allowing the standard active rear spoiler to perform its function.
According to the company, the Aero Package is designed for both aesthetics and performance, engineered to “increase downforce, reduce weight, and enhance airflow.” All components are crafted from a 2×2 pre-preg carbon fiber weave formed using autoclave technology, reportedly delivering a 20-30% boost in stiffness and strength compared to conventional carbon fiber.
An important detail for Lamborghini owners is that the Vorsteiner bodykit mounts directly onto OEM points. This ensures that the modifications are reversible and won't damage the valuable supercar.
Vorsteiner has maintained the Revuelto's original framework, as the plug-in hybrid V12 is not something to be altered lightly. The hybrid setup produces a combined power output of 1,001 hp (747 kW / 1,015 PS) straight from the factory, thanks to a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 and three electric motors.
Regarding pricing, Vorsteiner’s official site lists the most expensive components as the rear diffuser at $14,995 and the hood at $11,995. The vented fenders cost an additional $9,995, the side skirts are priced at $9,945, while the splitter comes in at $6,995.
To acquire the entire package, expect to spend a total of $53,475. This is pricier than a brand new VW Golf R, which starts at $47,100 in the U.S. market. Nevertheless, it remains a modest expense compared to DMC's carbon fiber kit, which can reach up to $388,888. Ultimately, anyone who pays $608,358 for a Revuelto likely has an extra $50,000 available for styling enhancements.
